1. Nature of Service

   DesignDrafter is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform providing digital building design automation tools, AI-powered assistance, and engineering calculation services. Since our services are digital, intangible, and accessible immediately upon activation, this Refund Policy governs subscription purchases and payments made on the platform.

2. Free Trial

   We provide a 3-day free trial to allow users to evaluate the platform before purchasing a paid subscription.
   No refunds will be provided for dissatisfaction after the trial period ends and a paid subscription has been activated.

3. Subscription Fees

   All subscription fees:

   • Are charged in advance
   • Are non-transferable
   • Are exclusive of applicable GST and taxes
   • Are payable as per selected billing cycle (monthly / yearly)

4. Refund Policy

   1. General Rule – No Refund

      Due to the nature of digital SaaS services, all payments made for subscription plans are non-refundable, except in cases mentioned below.
      Once a subscription is activated and platform access is granted, no refund requests will be entertained for:
   • Change of mind
   • Lack of usage
   • Incompatibility with internal workflows
   • Failure to cancel before renewal
   • Partial usage of subscription period

   2. Exceptions – Eligible Refund Cases

      Refunds may be considered only in the following cases:
      1. Duplicate payment due to technical error
      2. Incorrect amount charged due to system malfunction
      3. Platform outage exceeding 7 consecutive working days (verified by internal logs)
      4. Failed activation where no access was granted
      Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment method.

5. Cancellation Policy

   1. Monthly Plans
      • Users may cancel anytime.
      • Access will remain active until the end of the billing cycle.
      • No partial refunds will be issued.
   2. Yearly Plans
      • Users may cancel auto-renewal anytime.
      • Access continues until the end of the annual subscription.
      • No prorated refund will be issued for unused months.

6. Auto-Renewal

   Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. It is the user’s responsibility to cancel the subscription prior to renewal to avoid future charges.

7. AI Credits & Usage-Based Components

   • AI Credits are non-refundable once allocated.
   • Unused credits do not carry forward unless explicitly stated.
   • Unlimited AI plans are subject to fair usage policy.

8. Enterprise / Team Plans

   Custom enterprise agreements may have separate refund or termination clauses as per mutually signed contract.
   Such agreements override this public Refund Policy.

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

   Initiating chargebacks without contacting support first may result in:

   • Immediate suspension of account
   • Permanent restriction from platform access
   • Legal recovery action if misuse is identified

10. Force Majeure

    No refund shall be applicable for service interruptions caused by:

    • Natural disasters
    • Government restrictions
    • Internet outages
    • Third-party infrastructure failures

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

    This Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of courts located in [Your City – e.g., Pune / Gurgaon / Delhi].
